Goal Diggers Women's Hockey Program |

Our "Goal-digger" clinics are designed for adult Hockey Mom's that are interested in learning and honing their skills and understanding the game in greater detail. Participants have little to no organized playing experience, but do need to have basic skating fundamentals and confidence. Skaters are in full hockey equipment (usually their children's!). Each session features 30-40 minutes of skill development and the remainder of the time is left for full ice and small area games. Typically, there is a diversity of skill/experience level but skaters are broken into smaller groups to work on specific skills relating to their ability. Don't be afraid... it is a ton of fun and Coach Red is known for buying a beer or two afterwards!
We will work on many apsects of the game and will focus on: - Skating skills (forward and backward)
- Edge control
- Puck control and confidence
- Quick feet
- Passing
- Shooting
- Puck protection
- Learning different aspects of the game.... and a little hockey history
- Full ice and small area games.
All the sessions will be led by "Coach Red" who has been running his programs since 2001. Coach Red is a Level 5 Master certified coach with USA Hockey and his proven coaching techniques and rapport with the kids (and Mom's) guarantees you will benefit from the program. - 8 hours of training
- Total cost $140
- Jersey included (if need -$10 discount if skater already has a Rink Rat jersey from a previous session)
