Our "Rookie" clinics are designed for young skaters with little to no playing experience. It is ideal for any skater who will be playing for their first or second year of organized hockey at the Mite, Mini-Mite or U8 level. Regardless of experience level all skaters need to have basic skating ability and be self-sufficient on the ice.

We will work on many aspects of the game and will focus on:

• Skating skills (forward and backward)
• Edge control
• Puck control
• Shooting
• Puck protection
• Lots of games and fun

All the sessions will be led by “Coach Red” who has been running his Rink Rat program since 2001.   Coach Red is a Level 5 Master certified coach with USA Hockey and his proven coaching techniques and rapport with the kids guarantees your child will benefit from the program.
